Meet the Owner / Operator

Owner/Operator Karl Amundsen has been a panelbeater for over 25 years. Starting his career in Te Awamutu, Karl moved to Tauranga and opened Bay Panelbeaters almost two decades ago - in 1993.

Recently, Karl also purchased Mount Car Painters, turning Bay Panelbeaters into a truly one-stop Panel & Paint shop!

Karl prides himself on exceptional workmanship and honest, 'old fashioned' customer service.

Over the past 19-odd years, Karl has also built a great team around him of experienced, work-proud panelbeaters and painters and friendly, efficient administrative staff.
